Zoe Mickley Gillenwater is a web designer, developer and consultant who loves creating sites that work for as many people and devices as possible. She is the author of two books on CSS, Flexible Web Design: Creating Liquid and Elastic Layouts with CSS and Stunning CSS3: A Project-based Guide to the Latest in CSS, as well as the video training title Web Accessibility Principles for lynda.com. Bermon Painter is a designer/developer living, working, speaking spanish and eating cupcakes in Charlotte, NC. He enjoys solving problems with design, creating elegant solutions with code and digging into juicy analytics. In his free time he organizes the groups Charlotte UX, Charlotte FED who meet monthly and co-organizes BarCamp Charlotte. Andrew C. Oliver is a professional cat herder and who moonlights as an entrepreneur. His expertise are in performance and scalability and of course Cloud Computing. He is possibly best known for founding the POI project, a port of Microsoft file formats to Java, which is now hosted at Apache. From there he joined JBoss Group as one of its early employees before it became JBoss, Inc. After Red Hat acquired JBoss, having caught the startup bug, Andrew attempted a startup of his own and learned what not to do when founding a startup. Since December, 2007, he has run Open Software Integrators, LLC. OSIL performs professional services for primarily vendors with Open Source products.
